fun nite, my knees hurt

we should have done this a long time ago, a nice touch on a usually boring envelope. too many things to do, too little time. listened to the smiths, "louder than bombs"... thought of tony while i was screening these. i imagined him doing the same thing, working on his zine, listening to music, loving the hands on, making something pretty.

Cat #1

This is one of the four cats around the house. There is Grandpa Irv, which is the friendly grey tabby with no tail. There are two orange ones like this... i believe this is Mom... and another gray/brown tabby according to Harry. I have not seen that one yet.

karaoke Revolution

Nathalie introduced me Karaoke Revolution... playstation judges your singing ability, how long you can keep a note, if you are singing in the right tone. Needless to say, i was hooked. N and I dueted the first nite, I spent the second night in SF singing alone in their room, while they were working away. Song list: Thank you, Against All Odds, Pressure, Oops I did It Again, ABC, and my all time favorite, Careless Whisper. Thanks N and D.

Anna Martino gave this to us on our housewarming/Angie's bday party. It's suppose to grow 15 feet tall. I cant wait. Thanks Anna!

Subaru Ramp Jam!

Avril, eat your heart out. I'm super psyched, Lux is FINALLY taking an
interst in skating (and not the blading kind, thank you). I've been
playing some videos, and he was starting to like them, a bit. Then we had
a small talk, about him wanted to learn. I think he was afraid of the
hurt factor, so we talked, and decided he needed gear, head to toe. He
already had a helmet, so that was good. Yesterday, $30 later, he now has
kneepads, elbowpads, and wrist guard. He even got himself an Alien
Workshop Tee. I have a bunch of boards around, so he got to pick one out
for himself.

We only skated for about 5 mins, mostly him jumping off the board and
testing his falling. He liked the fact that it didn't hurt. Slowly, yes
we will move slowly on this, I'm not going to push him, and turn him off
or scar him for life (sorry Ted, I was younger then).

Anyhow, I can't wait until he can push off on his own, that might be some
time, and he wants to go to the skatepark with me, but we will see.

Proud momment in my parenting career.
